Our road trip across the ski slopes & snow fields of the French Alps
Once upon a time, when planning the launch of Dinoski, we had the wacky idea that we should buy an old school bus, ship it over from America and turn it into our mobile shop. You can read the story here about how we built the bus, otherwise, this particular tale begins in the Eurotunnel to France.
We had decided that we would be the first people ever, to drive a converted American school bus from the UK across the Alps, via France, Italy, and Switzerland.
On our trip, we filmed our crowdfunding video - Photographed our new range - Golfed off the roof of the bus (unfortunately, no hole-in-ones were seen) - & Jet-ski-sledged off the back (much harder than it looks!).
All in all, The Dino Bus far exceeded expectations as the ultimate tour vehicle. If you want to get distracted by amazing photos of the adventures of the Dino Bus then follow the Instagram page.
A room with a view
The beauty of a road trip like this is that you can pull over virtually anywhere to stay the night. Here is an example of where we would wake up. Not a bad view with your morning coffee!
This road was also especially amazing. It follows the river all the way from Morzine to Lake Geneva. We highly recommend that you go and find it.
The prized possession for the trip (apart from the bus!) was our drone - a @djiglobal#Phantom4Pro. On the morning of our second day, we managed to fly her straight into an ice cold river via a tree which was far from ideal.
By sheer Dino luck, the battery managed to 'hit the eject button' and landed safely on the bank, while the rest of it swan dived into the water. Not only did this help us to locate the drone, it also meant the electrical current was switched off, saving its life.
She lives to fly another day. Full video coming soon.

Massive thanks to our partners! AliKats Mountain Holidays supported our shoot and video. Shred & Butta helped us build the ultimate tour bus, Simba mattresses made sure that our bunks were even comfier than our beds at home and Rude Health kept us energised with hazelnut milk coffees along the way.
