As you may have noticed from the spiky shells on the ground, its peak conker season and we think its time that Conkers made a comeback.
So we recently met with the UK’s Conker King aka King Conker (His friends call him William the Conkeror but his real name is Chris) to discuss how he’s reintroducing Conkers for the modern age.
During our Birthday Week, King Conker himself will be hosting The Roarsome Conker Club at 3pm on Sunday 6th October, for a family friendly introduction to the nostalgic game of Conkers.
The event is a free conker conquering workshop where each little legend will receive a pre-made conker kit from The Roarsome Store, before heading up the road to Wandsworth Common for an immersive lesson in the art of conker war.
Kids under the age of 6 will get a beautiful “Bonkers Conkers” pack containing an oversized rubber replica conker on elasticated string, and a collectible Conker card.
Parents and older kids will get the country’s finest pre-holed, cellar-aged Conkers, ready to play.
All conker packs will be stocked at The Roarsome Store for the foreseeable conker season.
